Breaking hammers have been widely used in mines, railways, highways, municipalities and other workplaces. In the harsh working environment and poor conditions, it is necessary to master the correct use method, which can not only improve work efficiency, but also greatly extend the service life and reduce the frequency of failure. 1. Do not use steel drills as pry bars
During the crushing operation, do not use the breaker to move/pry the stones, this will easily cause the steel brazing to break and the support to be damaged. When the steel drill is inserted in the rock, do not walk or swing the large and small arms of the excavator!
2. Empty hitting is strictly prohibited during operation
During the operation, please confirm the compaction hit object first. After the broken object is crushed, stop the hammering immediately, and do not continue empty hitting. Dumping will cause the oil temperature to rise, the bolts will loosen or break, and even the hammer carrier will be adversely affected.
3. It is strictly forbidden to use a breaking hammer for lifting operations
In daily work, please do not use hoisting operation, this operation method will cause damage to the drill rod and bracket.
4. Visual inspection
Check the gap between the drill rod and its bushing, and check whether there is hydraulic oil leaking out. Once hydraulic oil leakage is found in the breaker, the damaged seal ring should be replaced immediately. And check whether the relevant bolts are loose or fall off, please tighten or replace them.
5. Lubrication
The breaker should be lubricated before operation and within 2 to 3 hours of continuous operation. When applying butter, it should be placed vertically and the fiber rods should be compacted and not suspended, so as to prevent butter from entering the hydraulic system. It should be noted that the grease should not be injected too much, it will stick to the piston if it is hit too much, and the grease will easily enter the hydraulic system during operation.
6. Use improper breakdown force during crushing operation
The crushing operation should use appropriate breakdown force. If the breakdown force is insufficient, the hammering energy of the piston will not be able to effectively crush the stone, so the reaction force of the hammering force will be transmitted to the breaker body and the carrier, thereby damaging these components. If the breakdown force is too large, the machine may suddenly tilt at the moment of crushing the stone, hit the stone violently, and cause damage. Therefore, during the operation, the breakdown force must be always paid attention to.
7, the angle between the breaker and the material is wrong
During the crushing operation, keep it perpendicular to the material and make the drill rod tightly press the crushed object. If the hammering direction is inclined, the steel drill will easily slip off during the hammering operation, which may cause the steel drill and the piston to break or become stuck. Therefore, when the crushing operation is performed, the breakdown point should be selected to ensure that the breaking hammer and the material maintain a 90° angle during operation.
